•You can electronically enter your
tags, which will save you 50-60% of your time.

•Your account will be updated so
that you can view which items sold at our sale prior to receiving your check
(NOTE: You will not be able to view each day of the items sold. The
scanning will be delayed several days from the date the item actually sold)
•The system will allow you to
receive your checks more quickly than you would with a manual system - maybe
not this sale, since so new for all of us :)
TIPS when ENTERING TAG
•When sorting is
completed, enter your items into the system. Go to the tab, Enter
Items. By sorting prior to entering, you will save a lot of time because
you will only have to reenter the price and description for each similar
item. You also can avoid using the mouse entirely by simply using the tab
button, selecting the first letter of each entry in the drop downs and the
enter key to add items.
PRICE, DISCOUNT, DONATE & SIZE -
are self explanatory
Description Field: Type your
description being careful to stay in the box provided. Try to not use
capital letters.
TIP: Type
the first line with the words that will be consistent from item to item.
For example, let’s say you have 10 Gymboree items. Type Gymboree in the
1st description line and give more details on the 2nd line. That way, you do
not need to retype Gymboree over and over. Another example for the first
Description Line is “New” or Gently Worn, etc.
IMPORTANT! It
is very important not to use too many CAPITAL letters because you will have to
edit those items prior to printing. The capital letters take up
more space then allowed.
IMPORTANT! It
is very important not to type your letters too close to the edge of the
description box or you risk having to edit your tag because it will overrun the
tag. Use the second description line to complete your description.
Category: Choose the
Category either with your mouse or by typing in the first letter of the
category you want (which is faster). Take a few moments to familiarize
how the categories are set up.
Click on “Add Item” OR click the
Enter button. The system will add the item to the bottom of the screen
for you to view and will automatically save the item.
IMPORTANT PLEASE
NOTE: Notice at the bottom that all of your items are added to the
bottom below the entry form. If you leave this tab or are timed out, then
all of the items at the bottom of the page will disappear. DO NOT
WORRY. They are still in the database and can be accessed via the
Manage Inventory Screen.
The system will time you out after
it remains idle for 15-20 minutes. So try to sort them before you start
tagging. If the system times out, you lose the efficiency of the system,
because you will have re-enter all of your information again for the next tag.
MORE TIPS
•If you need to edit anything, go
the Manage Inventory screen. Here you can print inventory reports, mass
edit items or individual items, and also see a Projected Settlement Report
based on the items you have entered into the system.
•Printing can be performed at
anytime, at intervals or all at once when you finish entering your items.
Please make sure that your tag paper consists of only light, pastel colors
except for light or dark blue. You must also use cardstock paper (at least 60#
or 65# cardstock).
•Once your tags are printed, make
sure the bar-code is clear and is not excessively dark (use ‘normal’ setting
when printing – NOT BEST quality), then cut on the lines and safety pin to left
shoulder or right side if the clothing is facing you. When applying tape
to the toys, equipment, etc. please do not put tape on the bar-code.

How do I transfer items that did not sell from the last sale to this sale?
click on the previous sale, manage inventory, click on the items you wish to transfer, click on transfer items.
